Entry Fee	1) For 1:8 or 1:10 class: HK $400.-  (US $52) 2) For 1:8 and 1:10 classes: HK $550.- (US $72) 3) Serpent F180 Formula class: HK $200.- (US $26) (For Serpent F180 Formula class, this entry fee can be waived for drivers already joined either 1:8 or 1:10 class race) * Entry will be closed on 3rd January 2008 * Entry Fee Including: Fuel during qualify day & main event day            - Driver dinner on Sunday evening

Track Information

The Track:

• Name of Track: ACO Racing Track
• An Outdoor Asphalt Track
• Width 5.5m - 6.4m (variable)
• Direction of race is clockwise
• The motor racing track's length is 285 meters. It has at least 10 turns (left and right hand) and a 73 meters straight
• The entire area of the track is equipped with the protection barriers to prevent cars which become out of control from leaving the track area
• Buffer zone alone is painted in White, Green and Red Color

• Pit area: 5000 Square Feet
• 40 feet covered driver platform
• Big parking area that has a parking capacity of 100 cars
• Refreshments: Fast-food restaurant is available next to the track
• Restrooms and showers will be located near to the track

• In the pit area, there will be 220v - 240v domestic power supply. Using a UK Style 3 pin power plug, the central prong is ground, the right is phase, the left is neutral. The phase is internally fused.

Race Format

Lap Counting:

• AMBrc lap counting system will be used
• AMBrc Direct Powered transponder must be used

Numbers of drivers are limited to:

• 1:8 class: 30 drivers
• 1:10 class: 60 drivers
• Serpent F180 Formula class: 10 drivers

Qualify:

• 10 minutes qualify for each heat in each class
• 4 rounds of Qualifying Heats. Using best result of each driver to place their seat in main final.   

Main Final:

• 10 minutes for D ,E & F Main Final
• 20 minutes for C Main Final
• 30 minutes for B Main Final
• 45 minutes for A Main Final
• 15 minutes for F180 Main Final

Controlled Fuel

All drivers will be supplied (free of charge) with Tornado 25% Fuel, during 12 - 13 January 2008

Tornado 25% Fuel is available for purchase if needed for practice days (10 -11 January 2008), please contact us if necessary (world@world-model.com)

Controlled Body

1) 1:8 class: Open

2) 1:10 class:

   A) All drivers must use 200mm body shell from Protoform or Serpent

   B) Only the following holes and sizes are permitted in the body shells:

     - One hole can be cut in the front windscreen with a maximum dimension in any direction of 60mm. (this hole must be inside the area of the front windscreen, the edge of this hole must not touch the car roof)

     - One 15mm maximum diameter hole in the roof for glow plug access

     - One 50mm maximum diameter hole in the roof for fuel refill.

     - Both front side windows and the rear window can be removed for ventilation, except for the side rear windows, which must remain intact

     - One small hole with maximum 10mm diameter can be made for the transponder

     - One small hole with maximum 10mm diameter can be made for the radio antenna

      - One small hole with maximum 20mm diameter can be made for the exhaust pipe

      - No other holes are permitted

3) Serpent F180 Formula class: Open

Tire

1) 1:8 and 1:10 class: Foam tires only

2) Serpent F180 Formula class: Open

Random Checking

Racing cars will be randomly checked for analysis and any competitor found to be offending the rules will be disqualified and any race result obtained will be null and void

Car Specification

1) 1/8 class:

   A) Serpent 1/8 model

   B) Maximum .21 size 3.5c.c. engine

   C) All wheels must not lean out of the body shell.

2) 1/10 class:

   A) Serpent 1/10 200mm Touring Car

   B) Maximum .12 size 2.1c.c. (or 2.5c.c.) engine

   C) All wheels must not lean out of the body shell.

3) Serpent F180 Formula class:

   A) Maximum .28 size 4.6 c.c. engine

Transportation

1) Free transportation will be arranged on racing days (January 12 & 13, 2008) between the hotel and the track.

2) On practice days (January 10 & 11, 2008), you may arrange transportation to the track by yourself or we can help you to arrange, please contract us if you need this transportation service, traveling fees will be advised.
